Mike, I agree with you 100%. My previous post was meant to be a narrowly
focused suggestion responding to the equipment issues raised in the Zoom
meeting that was referenced. There was no intent to promote increased use of
Zoom.

 

I hope we are able to get our group together in double digit numbers soon.
It is time to regroup and get on with our club activities. In-person
communications and social interaction is a valuable bonding tool for groups
such as ours. Zoom is certainly a workable alternative for those that are
unable to attend in-person because of health concerns or travel. 

 

I hope to see everyone at our annual gathering next week!

I’m sure we have the technical expertise to do a very good job at this – 

 

BUT

 

Now that we are able to meet in person again, we should concentrate on
finding a better (bigger) meeting room, if we can’t get “our” old room back,
and get people to come back in person.  We used to regularly have 25-30
people at meetings.  It was fun!

 

NOTE: food for next week’s party is not available over Zoom.
