[WARC] The hybrid meeting issue

The discussion concerning our club’s hybrid meetings, having them in-person as well as on Zoom, was to talk about our quality. I focused on the Zoom aspect and luckily some bright souls looked at the bigger picture. Before 2020 we all gathered, shook hands, joked, had a program, ate cake and drank tea. It was a jolly time and lots of us were there.

In the post Covid world a few of us come in-person and fewer log in on Zoom. The latter group sometimes is myself and one or two others.

It appears to me that the Winona Amateur Radio Club should put its energy into in person meetings, handshaking, programs and cake. I don’t really drink tea. If no one, or just me and one or two others participate on Zoom our investment should be to rebuild our old, successful way of meetings.
